The photo book Juxtaposed is a whimsical exploration of the contrasting elements of life that hold the world together. It’s the exploration of lights and darks, shades and tints of color, and juxtaposing aspects in culture.
Juxtaposed is a photo project by Harlin Miller Jr. Over the past decade, Harlin has been documenting the world through a whimsical lens, capturing the juxtapositions and nuances that make the universe so interesting. It’s been such a labor of love to produce such a book. Now I’d like to share this book with the world.

Limited Edition
After working in the industry for over a decade, I felt that it was now time to share with the world my very first retrospective book. A pandemic has a funny way of pulling things into perspective. I’ve wanted to publish a book for years but could never find the time to do it... then the 2020 pandemic happened. And, I was forced to find ways to be productive creatively. This was the perfect opportunity for me to start working on this book. I launched a preorder campaign via Kickstarter and sold out of the book in less than 30 days.
Second Edition
As the interest from my first book continued to grow, I decided to release a second edition of Juxtaposed. The newly designed Juxtaposed Second Edition book is available in both a glossy softcover and a clothbound hardcover with a modern design that looks great on display. I wanted the cover of the book to be bold and to be a unique contrast to the Limited Edition book. However, the book will share the same content and high quality as the Limited Edition book. This edition is now available to purchase.
